The b/w conversion is very good. A bit contrasty, but that works well with this picture. Highlights on the face are not overdone, which is another good point. However, if you want to be taken seriously as a photographer, you should not cut the tops off peoples' heads, at least not with the camera. :-) (wrong tool for the job)

yea i agree with this

Sometime cutting the head is fine but its more cutting the 2/3rd mark in the hair to place face features in top 3rd.

Looks good in b&w conversion.
