Hi All,

Attached is the photo of a Russian lady I met by chance at the my hometown beach for your viewing and commenting. Please advise if there is anything wrong with the photo in terms of techniques, composition,POV, etc.

Thanks and regards,

The horizin may look tilted, but the photo would not look very good with the subject tilted and the horizon straight.

The only real problem with the photo is lack of color. It appears that, in getting the exposure correct for the woman, it became too bright, and the color is somewhat washed out. I gave it some increase in saturation level as a comparison.

its a nice shot

i do find the horizon a lil distracting, but no real biggie, maybe a quick clone of a fake horizon would fix tht,

i do like the saturated version of the shot. Im not sure if you were going for tht desaturated look but it does look alot better with more colour and some deeper tones.

Youve captured a great natural pose and expression and i think this is what makes the shot.

nice work and great edit brian

I'd ask her to get rid of this ugly towel... it doesn't fit this picture not in composition, nor in terms of color key...

The picture (and it's subject) are already attractive, but here's my 2c. worth of adjustments. Straightened horizon, more saturation and a little unsharp mask.
