Adjusted small for dial-up

New to my Pentax *istDL2 (bought last week)

Got a quick shot as it was pissing down!

The image is heavily compressed with lots of artifacts and jaggies. I'm not sure the image does much for me...The perspective and the subject is not very interesting. Perhaps closer/tighter framing to show more textures and details would be better.

I agree with above

i think something like this could be shot ery close by putting emphisis on the texture and colour shades of the subject. i dont think the baking will add any value to the shot unless taken from a bit further back.

yea i would also sugest gettgin in real close and trying different angles to try capture some gret contour lines in the stump.
