This is one of my first attempts at shooting anything with my new Kodak Z740...I like the fact that the rock that the birds are on, look like waves washing upon the shore.

first off try resizing all your images so the top horizontal is max 900 pix. photo will fit better on the screen that way.

It looks to me like you have not processed this image in any way. Therefore the levels could be optimized, and sharpness could be improved.

This can be done in a number of photographic applications.

I'm not too keen on the composition. The two birds apart from being the same type have no interaction or link in this scene.Keep it simple to start.

No I have not processed it in any way...I will fool around with that over the weekend...
