ok I can see why it would have done well then. I don't think people need to be roasted though, when they start out in a field of photography for the first time, as Rodney is. Wildlife is not an easy subject either. Its a steep learningcurve as opposed to people who you can ask to turn this way or that.

Theres a real cheek in implying my sentiments are misplaced after whatyou wrote in fliker regarding a certain individual. I have a transcript.

There is no roasting or anything unfair. I gave an honest opinion to a professional photographer. Rodney is a big boy and can handle it a lot better than most.

Anyway thats all from me on this subject, before any more banned flicker phonies join this discussion on false accounts.

:blah:

All the best.

I don't know what Ive said has to do with anything about people who use flickr, Ive used Steve's a lot longer and believe in constructive criticism, not roasting a persons work.

OK guys and gals....

Let's keep it on topic and at least try to adhere to the Forum Guidelines

The idea is to help each other improve images, not to debate whose images are better, what's being discussed elsewhere, etc.

Thanks

There is not debate, Jim. I know my images are better. LOL

Thanks for the lil reminder.

I like the picture Rodney. I like the bright cleancolors on the duck and the sureal look of the water. I wish the duck's head was turnedjust alittle bit towards your lens. Thumbs up!

Do you have the same shot with the entire reflection of the duck showing (on the water)? I'm just wondering what the picture would look like with the whole reflection showing.
