I think that's a really nice pic Kaspian, and suits the B&W style.
I might have cropped out the fencing etc on the left & left a nice protrait-style shot of the main characters?? But wth do I know :?

Nice capture. The legs look a bit a bit overexposed though.

Very nice image. But, too many elements and the blown legs, as stated above, steal from the impact it otherwise would attain,IMO. I think your daughter has a great potential for portraits. So why don't you try shooting just one puppy or two ,at most, and your daughter next time?

Thanks for your input everyone! The shot was not planned and no editing was done to it (just the B&W conversion). A little more background story behind the shot; The pups are just starting to eat solid foods. We keep them inside the house during the day (utility room) and when we get home from work we take them outside and feed them there. My daughter (she is 3) kept trying to get one of the pups out of the temporary fenced area. I kept telling her not to play with them because the pups were eating. I go in the house to get a cup of coffee. As I'm walking out of the house I noticed.......well the shot that I took.......:-)

yea

great shot

B&w definately suits this shot. looks a tad over exposed and a lil bit of blown highlights on hte legs. Still a great capture.

I do prefer the tighter crop and the flip seems more natual to me. I think its bcse the legs seem to fall towards the centre of the frame

nice shot

ken
