Hi folks,

A few weeks ago I woke up early and brought 20D and some lenses with me to the top of DIC Star hotel to take some shots of Vungtau, my hometown in early morning.

Your comments and critiques are warmly welcomed.

Photo shot in Av mode, CanonEOS 20D, lens Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM with tripod. Image was adjusted a bit in PS to enhance the saturation and contrast.

Thank you and regards,

Great shot! The composition leads the eye to the hill, nice balancing of the hill and land with the open water!

Looks like a real nice place! Great scenery and not even any traffic!

I kinda like this shot. Very early morning sun has just risen feel to it. Which I assume that it was just that and you have captured it nicely. I wasnt sure at first if there was too much saturation or not. Maybe a little but overall it is still good. And also the composition is good with the road and horizon sort of meeting up. Great colours too.
One small note I forgot to mention. I seems a little soft and out of focus. But I gotta a feeling it is just the web downsizing that had to be done. I assume the original shot is bigger and clearer??

Thanks and keep posting.
