I would like to know your opinions on how I should crop this picture!!

I don't whant to lose to much of the picture because its only 5mp and I whant to print it large..

And can someone tell me whats the best way to sharpen a picture that is a little bit soft, this one...

*I use photoshop Cs

Nice shot, I guess how you crop it really depends on the print ratio you are going to use. So, how large are you planning on printing?

12x18 shouldnt be a problem if you interpolate it with bicubic sharp. Just do a few different ones with different modes to check the results.

best way to sharpen is with a hi-pass sharpen.

Simply: Duplicate layer > rename as 'hi-pass' > desaturate 'hi pass' layer > filter - other - hi pass > then use about upwards of 4px (the aim is so it loks a little too sharp) > Then change hi pass layer to 'overlay' > change opacity to suit.



Much more effective than USM. And you can then also use USM but only a little (1.1 radius - 100% ???) and see how that works out for you.

hello,
j'ai utilisé neat image pour la netteté, en réduisant la capacité nettoyage et en augmentant le rendu de détail, cela a pour effet de ne pas rendre plus nette la route mais seulement les voityres et l'herbe (ce qui est le moins uniforme). Pour le crop, c'est personnelle mais la barriere du haut n'ajoutait rien * la photo, j'a fait le crop en conséquence.

Here's my quick two minute edit; adjusted levels, contrast, and appled unsharp mask as well as a slight gaussian blur to the area surrounding the cars.

However sharpening just seems to bring out the blown highlights on the cars moreso.
