This is a tough one. The crop removes a lot of empty area, and you can still tell the dog is looking out a window by the portion of the frame that's visible and the slobber smudges.

But, I like the natural frame of the window even with the empty area. So, I guess that I like the uncropped one better.

I would suggest a crop, but perhaps a crop not as tight as yours. This crop maintains the three sides of the window frame so viewers can still know the dog is looking through a window, but loses the unnecessary parts of the frame.
