I'd love to get as much comments and feedback on my pictures to help me learn and grow.

To me, it's a decent macro. The damselfly is relatively sharp, but not tack sharp. Colors and saturation seem good. Dof is also good. The bright spot on the leaf that's in focus is a bit distracting as is the bright spot behind and above the subject. Nice first effort though.

Good feedback and I agree.

I had a lot of trouble to get them to stay around long enough and still enough. That combined with my handshake and a wind made for a tough start. I'm glad you appreciated the overall effort. :P

Sometimes I wish insects and flowers would realise to stay still when having their pictures taken :?

Did you try raising the shutter speed to try and freeze the action??
