Comments, positive and negative are welcomed.

Nikon D50 f8 1/125

I have had to resize this image down, so it may appear a little distorted.

Thanks.

I used the standard 18-55mm Nikon ED lens that came with the camera.

Hi,

Nice image. I was Surprised you had only used the standard lens that came with the Nikon it looks like you may have used a macro.

Nah, im too poor to own a macro

Seriously though, I am thinking about getting one. Macro photography is a side of imaging I would like to explore more in depth. I just don't have a clue about what lens to go for on ebay.

Something that allows me to take a detailed picture of the iris of an eye would be cool, or maybe the tungsten element in a light bulb on a dimmer switch.

If anyone reads this and wants to throw a few ideas my way, feel free.

Regards

Sigma or a Tamron 100,150,or 180 I believethere are three different MM's might be a90 also depending which manufacture. I plan on getting one too most likey the Sigma. They are all 1:1 ratio life size images you can get from them.
