I love this shot as well.

I've found over the years that mix-breed dogs almost always make better pets. They seem to live longer, have less health problems, can eat ANYTHING, and many times are way smarter than purebreds.

I speak from experience too, as my grandparents were world known Labrador Retriever breeders for almost 30 years.

Hey....that's my shot!!! Sooo cool!! I completely missed it somehow. Thanks guys for choosing it.

Alfie's story was one of a rough start as he was abused...beaten with a hockey stick, starved and left outside 24/7 in an above ground pool with board slats.

He's a very gentle kind dog who has never shown the type of behaviour his previous owners were attempting to cultivate. When we rescued him, 9 yrs ago, he was so hungry he was eating rocks to survive. Now, he leads the good life and is loved by my family.

Thank you again for posting the picture for the day. I am honoured.
