Hi, first sorry for my bad english

i m looking for the bestphoto quality availablewith printers, and water resistant ...

Dye sublimation (4" / 6") or classic "A4 ink jet printer", it s not a problem in my final choice.

It s for my digital camera (panasonic FZ 20, and a nikon)

for the moment i use a Canon I865, but i want better printer , because i can see 'points' on the paper.

Yesterday i saw, a Sony DPP EX 50, the quality was great, and water resistant .. points was invisible. sheets was expensive

So, is it the better quality available ? how are prints with the Epson R800 ? (is it water resistant too .. ?)

if u have a better choice than the Sony EX 50, in all models available up to now, plz tell me

thx so much

i'm working with pixma ip8500!
on a A4 Glossy photopaper, it's 100% waterproof.
..normal paper and CD printing are not..they smudge and this for all brand of printers!
The best result on CD was with maxell printable cD (this for the ip8500)

I also own a HITI 730ps [6 x 8] not A4 but... wat you see, is wat you get...allways spot on and spranklin vivid colors!
they are high-gloss and UV protected with a Magic coating

try some epson pro series printer, and a Qualimage-paper. It is a very good combination.
For sublimation and photo printing we use this for 3 years.
