As my descrition states I have an epson stylus photo R300 and it has the most peculiar problem. It begins to print, the printer is recognized and the buffer empties... but the paper just jumps up when it tries to feed... the ramp pushes it towards the rollers but it's not brought into the printer. If I push down on it it will feed in, and sometimes print. When I manage to get it to feed, there are two physical indentations on the right side of the paper about an inch apart (near the very right side).

This is exceedingly frustrating and was wondering if anyone has had the same problem or knew a fix for it.

Thank you very much

Check carefully for something jammed in the paper feed in the area where the indentations appear, and for physical damage or loose parts in the same area.

It's also possible (though unlikely) that the paper feed timing has slipped.
