Iown the Nikon D80 and I'm looking for an inkjet printer that will provide the best possible 8x10" prints. A friend suggested the Epson R800, what else should I consider?
I don't need anything bigger then 8x10" prints. I already own a Canon CP-710 dye sub which I use for mass printing of 4x6" prints to distribute to family members and friends.

for what it worth i would recomend the canon ip4200, if you can find one, if not the ip4300. I know that they are chiped but i believe third party will figuer it out. Why do i recomend the canon printer, in my opinion they are the most economical to operate. I have used canon since the bjc 600, 620, 4400, and had a 5000 for a while the went to i850 which just quit on me. I know the ip4200.

If you have a best buy by you go have the same picture printer out or an hp, epson, lexmark, and canon. The canon you can pickup as soon as the picutre comes out.....the others i wouldn't unless you want finger prints on the prints.

Hope this helps you.....
