Default Cannon 9100 prints VS. Photoshop pallete

Hi All,
I have a cannon 9100 printer (it is calibrated, etc) and the prints seem to come out lighter than what I see in photoshop (isn't this stuff suppposed to be Wysiwyg??).

Any ideas as to why my printing output is not exactly what I see on my monitor (Planar LCD)?
What can I do to get that 1:1 correspondance???

Without this, I don't know how I will ever be able to tune the images properly if I cannot trust what I see in photoshop to be the final image on the printer.......

Thank you
