Default Question about Canon 850 and 950 Printers

I am about to buy one of the canon photo printers and am a bit confused. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 850 and the 860 and/or the 950 and the 960. I have tried everywhere and cant find anyone (even canon) who can tell me the difference.

Much appreciate the help.

The Canon i850 / i860 are four color printers, using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and black ink tanks. The i850/860 are faster text printers and good photo printers.

The i950 / i960 are six color printers (additional Photo Magenta and Photo Cyan tanks.) The i950/960 are so-so text printers speedwise but are very fast photo printers.

Well, the MAN pretty much nailed that one.

The differences between the 50/60 models are subtle evolution not a huge change. They both now come with a 4x6 paper tray and Pictbridge port and the i860 uses better photo inks (4 x BCI6) along with a standalone black text ink. Overall though, the generations are still similar printers.
