I am looking to possibly buy a printer capable of printing 13" X 19" prints. The Epson & Canon are out from what I can read, & the HP would be 'in' so to speak because it supports Windows 98SE (don't laugh - a New CPU will come in 2005).

While I prefer Kodak's Premium Picture paper, I see they do NOT offer it in the 13 X 19 size - only 1 grade of paper that they offer. In looking at B&H and Calumet, it looks like the best bet will be to use Ilford paper & maybe buy their Smooth Pearl finish. Also looked at Brilliant paper, & Lumijet.

Anyone out there had any experience with this printer or these papers I mentioned? I wil probably order some of the Ilford paper in 8 1/2" X 11" size to test it before I go & buy anything.

Just got off the phone with Calumet Photographic & they told me that the Canon i9190 is going for $279.00 - it is the predecessor to the i9900 & that they would only be around for another 2 weeks. Saleslady said that the Canons WERE compatible with Windows 98SE.
