Hate to rain on any parades here with all these positive replies, but we bought an i960 in July and are not very happy so far. Picture quality is fine, but longevity seems to be an issue. We gave a photo to grandma that she put on the fridge. Within 3 months it was terribly faded. We also had a problem where the printer started printing very light but noticeable lines in the pictures. Canon was very good about getting it fixed and once again the pictures look good. But we're concerned that we're just throwing our money away on paper and ink if the pictures aren't going to last. Has anyone else experienced these problems with the i960?
At present we're looking at the Epson R800. Unfortunately it's about $400, but the photos are supposed to last much longer. Also, the prints are supposed to be virtually water proof. Not a bad feature when you have 4 kids!!!
