To say the lease I was very disappointed to find out my new printer (i9900) will not print borderless 8x10's. I've tried everything from posting on forums, to working with Canon Support. Canon states that they do not make an 8x10 paper so why make drivers. Do 8½x11 and cute it down… I disagree; a photo printer should do borderless photo sizes and 8x10 is a standard photo size. So I'm asking anyone who owns a Canon printer, to put in a driver request to add borderless 8x10. Maybe if mass request, we can get it added….

Which application are you trying to print borderless from? I'm pretty sure I can achieve it using certain applications and simply choosing the correct paper size (or custom if it's not available) and checking the borderless print box in the printer properties. Sometimes you can set margins to zero in the application also. If you're using the supplied Canon software, then yes, only certain size papers might be available in the settings. I have (the superb) IP4000
