O.k., I had some extra money, and I bought the Epson Picture Mate. I already have the Canon i860, which prints wonderful photos. I was swayed by the longevity of the Epson prints, and the portability. The i860 is also a great all around printer, so I figured I wouldlike to have a dedicated photo printer in the Epson.
I like the Canon prints just SLIGHTLY better, but it's funny, because the Epson colors are actuallya tiny bit truer. I just like the way the Canon colors pop. I love both of them, but want my photos to last. As one person on this board pointed out to me, the only real way to make them last is to save them on an archival CD, but I want photos that I can put in frames, on my fridge, as well as in my photo album. I'm just sort of feeling like I was indulging somewhat. Do I really need this Epson? I guess I need some convincing? Does anyonehave a Picture Mate and want to convince me? Ha
