Is there an all in one photo printer that scans 35mm slides and allows them to be transfered or stored as an electronic file on a computer hard drive or CD?

There may be better options but the Canon MP760 or the MP800 printers may be worth a look...

Also, the Epson RX700 (scan resolution 3200x6400 dpi) and Epson RX620 (scan 2400x4800 dpi). Both have a LCD screen so you can scan, view and print without use of a computer. Or scan directly to a flash memory drive or a regular memory card quickly and then upload to your PC later.

If the slide is faded or discolored, there's a color restoration option that you can use with or without a PC.

Both AIO uses 6 individual ink cartridges.

The holidays is a great time to buy printers. Lots of sales, rebates, bundled packages.
