When I align my CD tray with the marks, every once and awhile it kicks it back out away from the printer, I would then wait for it to recycle again, then try it again, same thing back out of the printer. I have to power down the printer, and then it will work just fine, it does not do it all the time, but like I said when it does, I have to power off. Any ideas? Thanks for all the help

That's common to quite a lot of these printers -- my R310 does it too.

Giving the underside of the tray a thorough clean with an alcohol-damped wipe helps -- I think the friction surface develops a glaze and the rollers don't grip it properly.

Also occasionally the platen doesn't align itself correctly when the CD flap is lowered and it reports a paper jam.

They are not among the world's most well-built machines...
