I can't make up my mind. I'm between a Canon 9900 with the older inks (yes, I plan on using Kodak paper for archiving) because of rave reviews and the current LOW street prices (Staples $100 rebate)...

Or the Canon IP 6700. The 6700 uses new inks. I don't plan on over 8 1/2 x 11, and the real question is... the 9900 is 8 inks and 4800 x 2400 max dpi. The New IP 6700 is 9600 x 2400 DPI (smaller pixels) but only 6 inks.

Which would produce a better quality image at a max of 8 1/2 x 11?
