My daughter is going to India for a couple of months and she takes a lot of photos. I'd like her to be able to go into an Internet cafe, plug-in her card reader or camera cable, and upload her pictures. I'm seeking suggestions for a site that's either free or cheap where she could efficiently upload the files on a full 2GB card and store them. I do know about Photobucket and use it myself, but file transfers sometimes seem slow even with my fast DSL connection. Are there sites which work better than Photobucket? I know a key factor will be the speed she has at the Internet cafe, but, assuming she has a fast connection, what can you recommend?

Have a look at www.Photobox.co.uksee if you think that's any better.

I like to use the danish site http://peecee.dk/ it might be a little difficult for you at first because of the language barrier, but really it's pretty straight forward. It's also possible to upload many files at a time. The servers on a 100mbit connection so it's pretty fast.

"Gennemse" means browse
Use the + and - to add more files.
Once you've uploaded something it will say: "Linkene til dine uploads er følgende:" and in the box below it will display links to the files you've uploaded.
