Do you know a particular printer or method that will produce quality B&W prints from digital images? Any suggestions?

HP Photosmart 8750 does a remarkable job of B&W. This is there 13x19" model, but they also make a smaller one also. This is the printer I use daily. It uses 9 "true" colors unlike some modesl that count a clear overcoat as a color. You have a choice of using a full Black ink cartridge or a Black with 2 shades of grey cartridge.

You should be able to find reviews on it...
