I am using a Canon IPF8000 large format printer printing 44" wide. I usually print 3 or 4 photos togethertosave paper.

The printer will normally print a 5mm border on each size. With Qimage, if I set a border of 5mm, it actually creates a border of 10mm on top, left &bottom. Should it be 5mm?

If I set borderless print, it prints out as 2-3mm border on top, left & bottom, not 5mm, why?

To save trimming time, I want all ofphotos have a 5mm border, how can I achieve it?

Second question:I have designed a layout for my photo packages of 11 photos with no border. So everytime I will print the same photo withdifferent size within 12x44"paper. If I do more than 1 photo (ie. I am printing another 12x44"), it will cut between pages and create the 5mm border on each page again. How can Ijoin the two pages togetherwithout any gap between the pages, like the poster mode.

Third question, the corner mark is too black, is there any way to choose our own color like the border. And how about the size of corner mark?

It sounds like your printer has a 5mm border for its printable area so if you set Qimage's "Margins" to 5mm, it will add 5mm onto the already-in-place 5mm that is used by the printer. Remember that when you are working with a page in Qimage, Qimage shows/uses the printable area as defined by your printer, so if your printer has 5mm margins, Qimage will already be working within those margins.
