Hi all - first post here ... hopefully somebody has some insight.

I'm working on designing a photo booth for my wedding this summer.

I've got remote control software up and running for two old digital cameras I have, but for both cameras, I shortest interval I am managing is like 8 seconds or so between pictures.

If I use a webcam I can do much better, but the pictures are too low quality for my purposes. I want to use a standard digital camera with flash, and I want the interval between pictures to be around 2 seconds.

Does anybody have a suggestion of a digital camera (preferably that I can obtain cheaply on e-bay) that would be able to support the speeds I'm looking for?

Is there some kind of speed between picture measure that I can look for in camera specs?

Any insight greatly appreciated ....

I would use a camera with a remote shutter release, and create a timer circuit to get the interval I wanted. 2 seconds should work with most cameras, unless the write speed to the memory card is a bit slower.

Depending on the camera you use, you may find info in the user page links from Steve's main page.
