The marketing brochures indicate that some of the newer Ricoh cameras have a text memo capability in which you create memos beforehand in a text editor, upload them to the camera, and then assign them as you take pictures.
Does the user interface make it practical to do this for large numbers of photos? I am taking pictures of all of the buildings in Manhattan (NYC) and would like to upload lists of 200-300 addresses at a time. I would then go around and shoot those addresses. But if the user interface makes you (for example) press then down key 100 times to get to the 101st memo, that would be pretty tedious.
How well does it work to enter memos in the field? Do you enter them using the buttons on the back of the camera?
