hello all

just wondering if there is anyone out there using the new ricoh gx 5mp . and if so how is it peforming .

does anyone know of any reports or reviews on this camera.

im currently using a calipo rr30 and love it , but some of the extra features on the gx look intersting . i like the sound recording , increased manual controll,

does anyone know if a underwater housing will be produced for this camera??

Hey matt,

I've got a review of the GX on my site:

By the way, you should join our forums - we've got a few australian digital photography enthusiasts there.

Hi there.bought mine from qvc and after 2 weeks had a malfunction with it - basically it wouldnt close / shut down after use or wouldnt zoom.Sent it backand they hadno more in stock.Managed to get some pics off and they didnt look too bad but needed a camera for holiday and couldnt find the ricoh anywhere so opted for the canon s60 which is excellent.Anyone else with a malfunction prob with the gx let me know.Bought the canon from jessops who advised they wouldntreccomend richo ?
