Recently I saw an update for my DX-3000 that did not explain what it did. At the last DEMA, I asked at the S&S Booth but no one there at the time could tell me. Has anyone downloaded the update? Did it do anything noticable? I am satisfied with my camera as is but would be interested in some minor modifications that could occur through programing.

If you have done this, please let me know what it does.

Thanks,

Mark

hello

i have a dx 3000 also

there is a procedure for seeing what firmwire update u have on your camera.

if you find out what version u have on your camera then get onto ricoh on the net and it will tell you what improvements will be done.

i have version1.16 (i think) and do the upgrades when they come out

some of the updates will do stuff like improved flash peformence, improved low light shooting, allow use of 512mb cards .

just get on ricoh website and have a look .

reguards
