Thanks for the tip. I'm going to hunt for some sample shots.

I notice, though, that the TL350 seems to have a CMOS sensor, which you may notice I've had some problems with on the SD4000/300HS

That is why I suggested the TL-500/EX-1 which uses the very same imager as is used in the Canon G-11 and S-90.

The TL-350 does use a Sony manufactured BSI-CMOS imager. The SD-4000 uses a Canon made BSI-CMOS imager. My experience has also not exactly stellar with BSI-CMOS imagers.
