My Father has a Samsung GX-1S and I suggested buying a 4gb card (visiting the US so prices are great) so he could shoot in RAW with out running out of space so fast (has 1gb right now) but the manual says 1gb Guaranteed, I know there is a firmware release (v1.02) but Samsung have NO info on what is fixed, rumor states addition of of SDHC which would suggest maybe a higher capacity should work.
Does anybody know or has anybody tried a 2 or a 4gb card? |

OK after several days of trying I was able to finally confirm with level 3 support that the firmware upgrade available on the samsungcamera.com site is provided by Pentax so should match the last DS2 upgrade. I will find out soon I guess.
Also could this thread be moved to the SLR section, sorry I put it under point and shoot by mistake. |
