Default HZ15W vs TL-320

Which is a better camera for me? I will mostly be taking pictures of my kids (indoors and out). I want at least 5x optical zoom in a new camera, and I want it to fit in my pants pocket.

To my very amateur eye, the TL-320 is a little smaller and has 5x zoom, whereas the HZ15W has 10x optical zoom. However, I have seen some stuff that says the 10x zoom isn't true, and that it is actually a bit less.

Yes, muley-

The TL-320, now priced at $(US)199.00, is slightly smaller than the WB500/HZ-15W camera, so that would help it fit into a pocket more easily.

The HZ15W is indeed a full 10X optical zoom and that has been verified.

I ordered the HZ15W yesterday off Amazon. $185 with free shipping, tough to beat that.

Congratulations, muley-

You got yourself a great price. Enjoy the HZ15W. It is a very good camera. Post some photos when you have a chance. I will do the same thing when the TL-320 arreves.

muley-

The Samsung TL-320 arrived yesterday (04 March) and it is smaller than the HZ15W camera. Image quality is also a bit better. Here is a photo sample.
