Default Great Close-up Photos with the SL420

We are often asked for camera suggestions for a camera that takes excellent E-Bay close-up photos. Well, the around $110 SL-420 camera may work perfectly for you.

Not much activity, so I thought that I would post another photo sample from the Samsung SL-420.

8 to 10 years it was the Nikon P+S cameras that were famous for their closeup shots. No oddly enough, it is Samsung. It may indeed be in the lens formulation.

However, the results are good enough, on a very consistent basis, that I just purchased a second SL420 on E-bay at a very good price. Take a look at the attached photo. The SL420 also does well outdoors, even with very overcast skies as well.

Default Different versions of the Samsung SL420?

The Samsung SL420 camera shown in your post has 12.2 megapixels and a S-K lens. All of the SL420s I have seen (including the one I purchased) have 10.2 megapixels and a Samsung Lens. In addition my SL420 is 6.3-31.5mm and 1:3.5-5.5 like the unit used in Steve's Digicams review and has no hand grip. Is that really a SL420 in your post? If I could find one like it I would be delighted. Perhaps Samsung changed the specs. on this camera.

Default Mystery solved

The camera pictured appears to be a TL320, now discontinued. The specs look really interesting.
