Default Anyone got this ES28/29? help advice please.

Hi, I just got the Samsung ES28/29 and would like some information on it please. I know it is a few years old probably but it is small and good to go anytime. I cannot find it on the site so thought someone here might have it or knew this camera enough to give some help/advice on it. Many thanks E.

I have the ES28-it's a nice camera that uses AA batteries.

Only digital IS is available (no optical IS).

It means that this was an economy camera. The IS is no way as good as your FZ-35. Digital IS was used in inexpensive video cameras and it is only about 30% as effective as optically based IS, like you have in your FZ-35 camera. Merry Christmas!

Thanks Sarah. Yes it was a cheapy but so small that i can take it anywhere in my handbag just to capture those quickies. Of course i prefer my big camera and still learning it too, but the little one is good to take out when shopping just in case - well you never know, i might just get that unexpected shot without using the zoom.
How do i turn off the flash? cannot find how to do that.
Also i have to sign back in all the time now as it isn't holding my user name and password. who do i ask about that, it is annoying.
Many thanks Sarah and Happy Christmas to you too but will be speaking to you again before them.

You turn the flash off via the menu.
