Default need help

friend recently got a samsung ES65 and all her photos have like a large dark circle in each picture, almost like a graphic, she cant work out how to get rid of it, any ideas. you can see it in this shot

That looks very odd. I'm wondering if your friend may have selected a Photo Style that's causing it (retro, etc.), as some of the Casio models have some effects you can choose from that are applied to images.

You can reset the camera back to defaults using a reset command under the initilization menus. I'd see if that fixes it or not. See page 53 of the user guide:

If resetting it back to factory defaults doesn't cure it, I'd assume it's defective in some manner (optics problem, etc.).
