I have owned this camera for about three weeks. As I am studying photography at college, I wanted something with adjustable settings but also quite compact. I think it is brilliant for both of these.

You can get a shot off within about two seconds of turning the camera on.
Adjustable Shutter speeds, from 15s to 1/2000s.

The review on this site is a good help aswell.

Hope this helps!

I have owned this camera for about 3 months.

In my view it has two flaws:-

1. You cannot completely switch off the in-camera sharpening - so you always have to contend with "halos" to some extent

2. It can be a bit noisy on two counts :- firstly, if underexposing to retain extra detail in the sky, the shadows can get a bit noisy. Secondly, the amount of "purple fringing" seen in high contrast areas is higher than average.
