They finally have it on warehouse123.com for $527 USD but are there any better deals?

stay away from that place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just bought mine at Amazon with free shipping and 1 4GB memory card and that was $619. B&H has it for $599 which is about the same deal. With Amazon I can return it up to the end of January.

If you're willing to got to the 1000 instead, Newegg has it for $479.

I don't trust any of those places with spotty reps and low prices. Not worth the hassle. Amazon is about as bad as I'm willing to tolerate.

I found a GREAT Deal for the 1010, I paid $507 with shipping. I went to p l e m i x , get rid of the spaces and put a dot com after it.

I ordered from them before and they were good. I got the camera in one day. If you google p l e m i x coupon, you can find a $10 off.

They were sold out of the black so I got the dark grey, I like it and there were no problems. This is NOT a grey market camera. Everthing is in english and came just as promised.

PS: I don't work for p l e m i x, I just wanted to let you know about he good buy.

This sounds like a good deal, it is a 4GBToshiba card

I've ordered from them. The prices and service were good.

Got the d450 from Amazon and have problem.
The return process was a nightmare.

Grunchy Nov 20, 2008 12:46 AM

Amazon listed a place called "Digital Saver" which has the HD1010 for $439 silver, $457 for black.

No freebies like from warehouse123, except for free UPS ground shipping (presumably if you're in the USA, cost for USPS is $27.56 probably okay for us Canadians, International postage is $99.99 OUCH)

staats Nov 20, 2008 10:58 AM

I had a nightmare with the free 4GB card I was supposed to get but the trick is to find the right 800 number and deal with someone in the USA.

Now, Wharehouse123 isn't going to take back the camera because you changed your mind. With Amazon this is agift for my wife and if it doesn't work out then she can get a different one. I needed that. It probably won't be simple though.

Of course, 2 days after I ordered they dropped the price again to $599.

Warehouse123 down to $499 including spare battery & 4GB memory card.
The economy sure is tanking but I tell you, it's hard to pay that price when my CG6 had only cost me $159 a couple years ago..... I mean sure the HD1010 is a much better camera, but 3x the cost??

staats Nov 21, 2008 4:42 AM

Unless Sanyo is dropping the price like a rock on these (always possible) I'd be very suspicious of a price that low. There'susually a catch.
