Playing 1080p videos with ION2

Hi, did somebody try to play HD2000 1080p 60fps video on any Netbook or HTPC with ION2 graphic card? Is it capable to play videos fluently ?
Im thinking about ZOTAC ZBOX HD-ID34 and important for me is playing my HD2000 videos.
Thank you
Marcel

doesnt matter if you have a graphics card. You still need the operating system as well as the software to work with hardware accelerated video playback along with correct drivers

I thing graphic card is important for it, Intel Atom /1,8GHz, dual core/ is not capable to play 1080p videos, this make ION2 graphic card .
So today i bought Zotac HTPC and i will to try it / after OS , player, codecs install / if it can play HD2000 1080p 60fps video.
Then i will inform about result.
Sorry for my english.
Thank you
Marcel

So I tried it and it works perfect.
ZOTAC ZBOX HD-ID34 , 1080p 60 fps movie from Xacti HD2000 , CPU usage about 8%.

Hi, Zed_CZ :

I just bought the ZBOX, but I've got a problem : I can't read my media files ( 1080p ) smoothly : can you please describe me which software + Codecs you use ?

With VLC the playback is somewhat smooth, but 1) it takes > 30% of CPU activity, plus 2) sometimes, the image is messy, showing compression artifacts.

note : the video plays fine on my full-sized computer with a GeForce 8800GT.
