Hi guys!

Can anyone tell me if there is a webcam function in CG65?
Thanks!

Yes, but only with Windows XP SP2 (perhaps Vista, I don't know). Check the CG65 software manual page 21.

Thank you for the tip!

If it is like the other models (CG6) it is quite a poor webcam implementation, only 320x240 and no sound. Someone with the CG65 can confirm.

Can anyone give an update on the webcam performance of the CG65???

I am not sure how physically the camera would be placed to act as a webcam, as there is no docking station.

I am thinking very seriously about buying a CG65 as a comprimise between a camera and camcorder and expecting some 'fun' :?with the video editing. But, I would be interested in using the webcam functionality.

Does anyone have a picture of it set up for webcam? does it stand up or lie on its side???

Any help would be great

I haven't used my CG65 as a webcam, but if I were going to, I'd use one of those tiny tripods. It has a mount for it.
