Hi all
(Apologies if this question has been asked before, but I did not find my answer) I need to buy a SD card for my new HD1000, and I wanted to know what class of SHDC was required for proper use. I assumed that it required a class 6, but strangely enough, it seems that my old 2GB sandisk SD performs well (must be class 2 I guess..), even in full HD video. However, I'm not sure the full HD mode is the more demanding. By the way I read somewhere that there was a still burst mode . Is there actually ? Can't find it.. Thanks for your advice |

Class 6 is recommended but not required. The HD1000 records at 12mbps so a Class 4 card should work fine. I'm not sure about a Class 2. If yours is working then that's good news. But, if you ever need to buy another card always opt for a Class 6. Another benefit will be faster file transfer.
There is a burst mode but I don't recall where in the menu to access it as I've never used it. I'm pretty sure you can fine it in the manual. Rev. |

Actually, a rough file transfer test seems to indicate that my SD card supports a write rate of 3MB at least. Anyway, that was not my primary concern
![]() I'll have a look in the manual then. Thanks |
