I am thinking of buying the Sanyo Xacti E1 but when I do the searching on web for prices, I found out that there is a model CA65. I really cannot tell the difference between these two models in terms of function but the price. The E1 is almost USD 100 more than the CA65 on average. What's the difference between these two models? Is it worth to spend USD100 more for E1?

Thanks a lot!

E1 is the name for North American units. CA65 is what its called in Asia and Europe.

They are identical in every way except in name.

The only catch is if you import a gray market item, you will likely not be able to have service on the units done under warrenty. So you'll have to judge whether that is something you would like to gamble with. My unit is an import from Hong Kong.
