I just hope that they stop recycling old parts and get rid of that DAMN stock of CCD sensors with bad pixels!

They claim to have an improved sensor, so you'd hope...

Also on the Japanese page (not yet on the English one) I don't seea dongle ora docking station in the accessories... USB and TV Out directly from the camera (as well as headphone out) is a goodimprovement to me. No need to drag around the dongle or docking station. Looks like they include a stand-alone battery charger as well.

There is no plan to import the Xacti CG6 into the USA. SANYO Fisher Company will continue with the Xacti C6.

Of course, there will be grey market products that will find their way to the US shores, but do note, SANYO Fisher Service (US Service Company) will not be capable of repairing, servicing or providing warranty for this model as it is not an officially imported model and quite simply they will not stock partsnor train their techs for it.
