There are some HD1s I saw on ebay that have the broken OLED screen going real cheap. Would these HD1s still be coveredunder the Sanyomanufacturer's warranty? If not, how much would it cost, approximately, to send it in to get fixed?

here's one for example

It's unlikely they are still convered under warranty, after all why would you sell something that could be fixed for free and obtain a much higher price? Think About it.

Screens are usually one of the most expensive parts of an electronic device to replace and as this used an OLED display you can bet it isn't cheap to replace.

Of course if you can get it literally for nothing and that's all that is wrong then it may be worth it, otherwise it's not worth the risk.

Well it's still a fault that needs fixing so what I just said still applies.
