Sanyo posts hints and techniques to get the most out of your Xacti.Elaborated for the CG6, but it could apply to most of the models:

Let's shoot more movies!

...the CA6 also has it's own (less elaborated) page.

I'm not sure there is much value to these little video tips... perhaps for people who don't like to read manuals? :G

BTW: these were posted acouple ofmonths ago... soslightly old news.

Very interesting. I actually think it's neat. The example movies are a nice visual way to see how the movie should turn out rather than how you think it should turn out. This is what makes the web useful. I don't see the point in just putting the manual online unless you use the full power of the web to do things a manual cannot do, like show you actual video clips. Of course they could also put this on a CD, but this way, it can potentially be kept update.

Sanyo posted their "Digital Movie Camera Usage Guide" (tips) for the CG65 today. The video in the guide is re-encoded in low quality flash video, but it's an interesting guide. The web site wasreally slow for me just now.

"Let's shoot more movies!"...with the Sanyo Xacti CG65.

Edit: oh, and they updated their CG65 english product pagewilh full cam info and details.
