Um,with that font and all upper case, now that's yelling! :G I'm not aware of any, the Xacti HDx series have an optionalwide angle lens adapter. The CG65 lens does have a slightly protruding ring around it, but it's not threaded, youmight have some luck with third party add-ons, but keep in mind this is an ultra-compact shirtpocket camera.

Hi,
my first post on steve's very interesting website, thanks Steve.

I'm looking to into a way to put a wide angle on a cg65 (for skydiving). Having seen no anwser, I just bought one today and I wil try out my wide angle from my sony.

Does anybody here use one for skydiving?

I wish... or maybe not. :? I assume you'd have to chuck the audio track as it would be nothing but wind noise. Howdo you secure a third party wide angle adapterfor that much wind? Certainly let us know your results.

Hi you can use a cam for filming and dub in music during the jump. I use my sony PC6 every day with a 0.3X wide angle lens. I've seen the HD1 with its wide angle, but I want something really smaller than my PC6 so that I can put it on a glove or on my helmet and fell no weight.

If you want to see what skydiving working videos are like check out www.france-parachute.com, as soon as I have a CG65 and done some vidéos I'll post them.

Has anybody tried some of these magnetic wide angle "Bower M.Power small 0.38x magnetic super wide angle/fish" and what do they think.

First jumps this WE with the CG65 and it works fine.

You can adapte a 0.3X wide angle on it: skyline 0.3X 30mm xdream-optics.

As I say you can adapt it on it and put it into manuel focus and macro at 5cm and you get a perfect image really great for skydiving.

Here's a photo done with a liquid 0.3x wide angle lens adapted to the CG65. It works fine just the wide angle is BIG compared to the camera.

Please tell us more about how you adapted the wide angle lens to the cg65. Any pics of the lens mounted on the cam? Thanks!
