Having been very impressed with the E6..... which has now been snatched by my daughter !! I found a great deal in the UK for the replacement - the snazzy E60 !!

Image quality is still very good but the E60 has the addition of red-eye correction, image stabilization in movie mode and 32 mb on board memory (as opposed to 16mb in the E6). Oh and a simple grip on the front - very cool !

The 3 inch screen on this range is a revelation and the 3 x optical non-protruding lens (in the Konica Minolta style) is reliable and fast.

Lowlight performance is fine, if not exciting. The menu system is logical and easy to navigate. Macro is marvellous, as with the E6 !

I was able to pick this up in the UK online cheaper than some online retailers were selling the E6 !! So itsa bargain,I reckon!!

Perhaps Sanyo can tell us whether this range will continue to be developed - but quite honesty apart from a better flash (and red-eye flash mode), additional face recognition (if that is any good ?) and maybe further image stabilization in stills mode (which possibly isn't that necessary) - find it hard for them to advance the Xacti E class.

All-in-all , a great choice. :|

Is the E60 available in the U.S.? B&H is selling the E6u, which shares specs with the E6. Looks pretty interesting for a credit card sized point and shoot.

Done a few searches and seem to be struggling on the E60 ! Which surprises me to be honest ! E6 is very similar to the E60. You could look at Canadian sites etc not sure if you get clubbered with import tax !! Some British companies post abroad ! Worth checking some of the US comparison websites ...... An email to Amazon might yield a result ?

The E60 is currently going for about £102 - £200 in the UK ... quite a variety of prices ! (2$ per £)

I think the SanyoDigital.com web site represents Sanyo North America's product line, if so, the E60 is notavailable hereand the E6u is considered an older model.

A friend locally (UK) saw the E6 and decided on the E60. Some friends from the US came over liked the product but said the sanyo range was expensive in the States !

Can you purchase from Ebay ? or Asia or UK sites ? Pricegrabber.co.uk or the equivalent for pricerunner etc ?
