Review, review! Sanyo, can you send Steve an couple of cameras fro an review? Good job, this answers much of the input we had put into Sanyo about previouse models. If it is as good as it looks it should be good. But I do need 720p50 at 12mb/s, and 25p, even at 12mb/s.

All I can say is wow! The price is still a little too rich for my blood, but no harm in drooling :-) Can't wait for the first samples and I really hope it lives up to it's promise and not provide fodder for a certain camcorderinfo website where certain commenters seem to think all Sanyo's are garbage. If this was $200 cheaper then I'd be very tempted indeed :-)

They have three lenses available on the accessories page. They were shown at the Japanese launch, Watch Impress has a photo of them (click for larger):

:lol:LOL, I was just goofing around. The little oneI made tofit underthe maximum file size limitation for a Steve's Digicams forum avatar. If anyone wants to use it, right-click, Save Picture As..., then you can upload it as your avatar (see "My Account" button above)

Edit: elaborate site there Anjoy... just a little correction:the HD1000 does not use the Sony/Panasonic AVCHD format, it's using the ISO standard MP4 format.
