i bought this camera 2 days ago and i tried it in the water at the beach and it seems to be some water its stack in the monitor. i don't know if this is normal. but the camera was working fine underwater with no problems. even now has little water but the screen monitor its blank all the time. the camera is ok i hear the sounds from starting/closing the camera, the light on the top its ok too. do i have to wait the water from the monitor to dry and then its gonna be ok? i'm starting to worry.. will i need a new monitor? thank you

Hello,

It's definitely a problem. You should send it back. no way should water come inside.

I have a CA65 (european verison of E1) and never had water get in.

PS. i bought it online from www.adorama.com

i sent them an email and i'm waiting for an answer. if they say they can't send me a new one i will sue them... that was all about this camera. the "WATERPROOF" thing. and 3 minutes the monitor was filled with water. i hope i will find someone to at least fix the monitor...
